j_b (756), Rochester, New York, USA May 31, 2008 Copper color, seemed a clone of Newcastle, very unexciting. No, not a fan of this style. Nutty and bland, minimal aroma.

bigred024 (26), South Carolina, USA Jun 3, 2007 very weak flavor. carries a sweet taste, but not much hop at all. still a pretty decent beer, but the taste is just a little weak. be a good beer to get drunk off of because of the week tasting flavor General_Gao (2579), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Mar 5, 2006 Draught. Clear brown color with thin off white head. Weak aroma overall with some brown sugar and sprucy hops. Flavor is nutty and earthy with brown sugar and a touch of sprucy hop flavor. Nothing to write home about. OhioDad (2492), Hilliard, Ohio, USA Sep 26, 2005 22oz draft at Dick’s Last Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. Pours brown with a fair tan head. Aroma of nuts, some caramel and brief hops. Flavor is caramel and nutty but actually not very robust. Palate is light and airy. Very drinkable just a little lacking in flavor and body though.
