| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 12/20 | Aug 8, 2005 Draught at Tyler’s in Durham. Clear yellow color with thick white nitrogenated head. Not much nose suprisingly. Not much hop bitterness or flavor for an IPA, but they’re there in the background. The relative lack of hoppiness and carbonation remind me of the average biiter you might have in England (reminded me of Flowers bitter, for ex). Decent beer. Easy to drink. Decent grapefruit aroma, but faint. Juicy citrus hops and a metallic edge. Crisp finish. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

Nitro
Light gold with a lasting off-white head.
Very light floral hop aroma.
Bitter with too little malt balance.
Neds a bit more malt and a lot more hops to balance this out. emacgee (1891), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 30, 2008 Got a sample of this at the WBF. Brewer said it was a nitro IPA. Poured and felt that way so I’ll believe him. Pours a copper amber with a creamy offwhite head. The nose was sweet, citrusy, resinous hops. Nice nose. The flavor is a step down though, a bit waxy, subdued flavor, bad aftertaste. The mouthfeel is very creamy. Headbanger (1591), Aurora, Illinois, USA

Aroma of a little malt. Taste of malt and not much hops. Not very tasty. OldGrowth (1426), North Carolina, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 2, 2006 @ Tyler’s taproom Durham 5/31/06. Nitro pour. Ok nose, soft citrus. Clean orangy copper color, Big head and good lace with the nitro. Bitter flavor, grapefruit mainly with that nitro thing. Medium body, thin creamy mouthfeel, bitter dry finish.
Don’t know why you’d do an IPA nitro, but not bad
