18.6 oz bottle. Poured the nice nutty brown color you see through the bottle with a decent off white head. Aroma was slightly malty but mainly hops--grassy. Taste is more malty--smooth and bittersweet. A good balanced flavor. Finish is smooth. Easy to drink in large quantities and better tasting than macro brews. It’s not very sophisticated though.

500 ml can from LCBO, served cold in a hotel rocks glass.

App.: Moderate copper, clear, small tan head. Aroma: Starts off quite metallic with some light nutty caramel malts, once the metal notes dissipate, the nose becomes sweeter and maltier, a bit vinous. Palate: Medium body and carbonation. Flav.: Cardboard, caramel and light nuttiness, a touch vinous, a bit fruity, a bit of earth hops, cherries?; dry with a touch of bitterness and a pleasantly, light, malty finish.

I used to think that this was the shiz-nit. I don’t mind drinking it, but shiz-nit, it is shiz-not.

Amber colour with a thin head, no detectable aroma, slightly sweet with a hint of caramel, over carbonated and for me has an odd after taste (phenol?), not quite as bad as I remembered but not worthy of its reputation, I will not be buying it again, only bought this one as it was on offer and for the photo for my collection.

0.33 bottle. Pale chestnut)brown color, creamy head, soft carbonation. Smell is malty, medium sweet. Taste is sweet, too. Flavor’s caramell-malty, medium body and slick, mild mouthfeel. Finish is bitter, it remains long. Good one.

Decent for drinking fast. Mild sourness and bitterness. A little bit of caramel roastiness, very mild choco flavor.. Light, fizzy, alright.

Bottle. Pours medium brown with a tan frothy head that quickly dissipated. Smelled malt and a slight hint of vinegar initially, but not much aroma afterwards. Flavor is sweet and malty with a hint of burnt sugar. The aftertaste was slightly sour. Light body with a watery mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
