AmEricanbrew (1747), Louisiana, USA Mar 9, 2009 Draft@ NBBC. Hazy dark amber with a light tan head. Big hoppy aromas of pine, floral. Smooth medium body. Strong citrusy hop flavors pit fruits and caramel malt. A touch of wood and vanilla whiskey adds depth. Very fucking good ! alexanderj (2212), Chino Hills, California, USA Feb 19, 2009 On tap at NBBC. I was told they are barrel aging some of this and a few other beers. Color was a nice, rich auburn. Aroma of caramel malt and flowers, with a hint of fruit. Flavor was caramelly, slightly sweet, smooth floral hops (I don’t remember why I put it that way). Balanced and easy to drink. JohnC (2227), Mission Viejo, California, USA Feb 10, 2009 On tap at NBBC, I really enjoyed this beer.
An opaque brown pour with a one finger yellow/white head, this beer has a nicely balanced flavor of up front malty sweetness against the citric hops on the finish. lots of complexity, lots of flavor.
