Commercial Description:
THis barleywine was brewed in honor of our 14th anniversary. This beer is breewed with caramel malts, oats, wheat and corn. Thre are massive amounts of Centennial, Chinook, Simcoe and Amarillo hops. 15% of this beer was aged for a year in a rye whiskey barrel. Filed with flavors of malt, citrus, dried fruit, and a hint of spice. 10% ABV

Draft@ NBBC. Hazy dark amber with a light tan head. Big hoppy aromas of pine, floral. Smooth medium body. Strong citrusy hop flavors pit fruits and caramel malt. A touch of wood and vanilla whiskey adds depth. Very fucking good !

On tap at NBBC. I was told they are barrel aging some of this and a few other beers. Color was a nice, rich auburn. Aroma of caramel malt and flowers, with a hint of fruit. Flavor was caramelly, slightly sweet, smooth floral hops (I don’t remember why I put it that way). Balanced and easy to drink.

On tap at NBBC, I really enjoyed this beer. An opaque brown pour with a one finger yellow/white head, this beer has a nicely balanced flavor of up front malty sweetness against the citric hops on the finish. lots of complexity, lots of flavor.
