Our bourbon barrel aged red ale has been blended with our Village Idiot IPA to create Antidote.

On tap at Newport beach brewing co. Poured a cloudy reddish orange color with small white head. Aroma of fresh hops, caramel and a faintness of oak an barrel characteristics. Taste is bitter yet malty with mild bourbon flavor which is a nice balance for this blend. Very good carbonation. I enjoyed this.

On tap a few weeks back at NBBC. Color was a reddish orange color with a white head. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, red malt and earth. Flavor was of red malt, bourbon, earth, roasted malt, citrus and fruit. Citrus in the finish. A nicely balanced beer wtih some some good flavor.

On tap at Newport Beach Brewing, this opaque dark orange pour has a ice white head. The bourbon aroma and flavor hits you up front and is followed by by citric and piney hops. they’re all nicely balanced.
