Dark brown, with a little red tinge to it, had a real nice creamy off-white head from the nitro. Smooth creamy mouthfeel, some dark fruits, sweet malt, this was very tasty.

Feb 19, 2009 On tap at NBBC. Nitro; poured reddish/orange brown. Nice looking. Aroma of earth, cocoa and "brown" malt. Flavor of caramel, chocolate with a light coffee presence. Also hints of earth and butter. Thought this was a pretty good version of the style.

brown pour, thin tan head. with the nitro, a very creamy texture. Light roastiness in the flavor.

Mar 28, 2004 Brown color (no shit huh?) with a decent sized tan head. Low carbonation with a high amount of maltiness and tastes of roasted malt. Didn't have any hop bite nor bitterness.
