18th sample Stone Anniversary Fest XI. Pours dark amber with a bright white ring. The nose was oddly hoppy and odd for this style. Pretty tasty ESB much better than the loco quad.

Copper - amber color. Minimum head or aroma. Bitter, metallic flavor with a touch of burnt malts. No malt sweetness or smoothness. On tap at brewery. Overall: so-so.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear copper orange with a one finger beige head that fades to a film after a short while. Aroma of citrus and spicy hops, burnt caramel and biscuity malts. Flavor is citrus and earthy hops, tangy burnt toffee, tinge of peanuts. Bitterness peaked at about a 4 on a 1-10 scale. Light to moderate carbonation, light body. Pretty average.

On tap at NBBC. Clear copper with a quickly diminishing head. It was a tad malty, but not by much. It was just a middle of the road beer

Copper color with nice sized off white head. Very nicely done ESB with mellow hop taste. It did however, have a slight acidic taste in the finish.
