Sep 11, 2007 18th sample Stone Anniversary Fest XI. Pours dark amber with a bright white ring. The nose was oddly hoppy and odd for this style. Pretty tasty ESB much better than the loco quad.

Jun 28, 2007 Copper - amber color. Minimum head or aroma. Bitter, metallic flavor with a touch of burnt malts. No malt sweetness or smoothness. On tap at brewery. Overall: so-so.

Mar 18, 2007 On tap at the brewpub. Clear copper orange with a one finger beige head that fades to a film after a short while. Aroma of citrus and spicy hops, burnt caramel and biscuity malts. Flavor is citrus and earthy hops, tangy burnt toffee, tinge of peanuts. Bitterness peaked at about a 4 on a 1-10 scale. Light to moderate carbonation, light body. Pretty average.

Nov 15, 2004 Clear copper body with minimal off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, grapefruit, earthy. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, grapefruit, some earthy, peach. Light-medium body.

Mar 28, 2004 Copper color with nice sized off white head. Very nicely done ESB with mellow hop taste. It did however, have a slight acidic taste in the finish.
