On tap at NBBC. Interesting that it is classified as a pilsener. Clear gold in color with not much white head. Aroma of grain and slightly sweet malt. Flavor was clean tasting, but not great. Mostly grain and corn flavors. Not much hopping evident. By far the weakest offering at an otherwise quality brewpub.

Got it on draft at Newport Beach Brew Co. This was without a doubt the most boring, thin, watered down version of a blonde that has ever traveled across my lips. Poor excuse for a beer, perhaps the bar tender mistook my order for Coors light? Who knows, nevertheless, flavorless! On the bright side the food was delish! My advise, skip out on the blonde, you’ll be glad you did.

Clear golden wuth a white head. Grainy pale malt and honey sweet aromas. Light/medium body. Pale malt grist flavors with a hint of honey. Crisp clean finish. Shaker glass is gone in sixty seconds.

Light aroma of bready straw like malt. The flavor is the same. It pours gold. It drinks light. It finishes crisp. Not bad

Light yellow, filtered, min head. Minimal straw aroma. Very light beer with significant carbonation, slight sweetness of malts, some grainy bread, subtle citrus and hops. While watery it didn’t have any significant off or metalic flavors. Good for the drinker who wants something just bigger than water. Drunk minutes ago at brewery.

I had this on draft at NBBC. thin, watery, flavorless, I guess it’s their house equivalent to Bud or Coors. not much going on here.

(Draft: Newport Beach Brewing Company in Newport Beach, CA) A very light blond ale, very little flavor at all. An odd grainy flavor emerges in the finish. Watery palate. The nose is pretty light, but kind of stinky like cheap beer. Medium yellow in color and fully clear. No head at any point. My description is pretty lame, but it’s not worth agonizing over. Hard to believe, but this tastes worse than their Cream Ale!
