AmEricanbrew (1747), Louisiana, USA Mar 9, 2009 Draft@ NBBC. This is more a Sour than a Belgian Strong, the brewpub lists it as a Sour on the beer menu.... Murky copper color with a fleeting head. Classic sour ale aromas of cherry and lemon with caramel and light spices. Medium body. Nice malty sweet, spicy Grand Cru flavors at first, then sour cherry and dry tart lemon to finish. Good blend of sweet n’ sour stuff here, whatever the style. JohnC (2227), Mission Viejo, California, USA Feb 22, 2009 on tap and for sale at Newport Beach Brewing, I had it on tap at NB Winterfest
great fruity, funky aroma, a nice tasty brew with a lot of complexity.
