Light copper pour with a fizzy white head. Hops are very present in this beer, aroma and flavor, very nice for a pale ale. Flavor lingered on the tongue for quite a bit, overall very good and very drinkable. alexanderj (2213), Chino Hills, California, USA Feb 19, 2009 On tap at NBBC. The best pale ale I have had in a while. Color was dark gold with an off white head. Aroma was nice with a good amount of citrus and flowers. Flavor was nicely balanced with flowers and citrus again in the finish. Nicely hopped for the style, and the dry hopping was not that pronounced. Sessionable and good. AmEricanbrew (1747), Louisiana, USA Oct 28, 2008 Clear amber with a fleeting head. Nice piney fresh hop aroma. Medium body. Good flavor of nicely bitter pine hops on a sweet caramel base. Classic Pale Ale. doubleo (1096), San Diego, California, USA Jun 19, 2008 On-tap at the brewpub. Pours clearish amber with a thin white head, specks of lace. Smells subdued hoppy sweet, nice malty sweetness in the back. Tastes malty crisp with just a backing of hops, slight citrus, slight grass flavor. Medium body, good carbonation. riversideAK (2648), Shoreline, Washington, USA Jan 17, 2008 Floral citrus aroma with some sweet bready malt. Pours a darker gold color. Notes of perfume and grapefruit in the flavor and some moderately sweet bready malt. Finishes very crisp. A clean APA. jarspag (593), Los Angeles, California, USA Jul 14, 2007 Very solid for an APA, decent hop aroma and solid flavor - however it doesn’t linger long enough. Good for a sunny day in Newport. DenverLogan (421), MileHi, Colorado, USA Jun 28, 2007 Amber color, small white head. Nice aroma of hops, with a big grapefruit hoppy and citrus flavor. Minimal sweetness and bitter finish.
