Black with a tan head. Blackened malt/ coffee aroma. Medium/full body. Rich, hearty flavors of blackened malts with a shot or two of Kahluha. Very good stout here.

GABF 2008. Deep dark chestnut brown, dense nitro brown head. Creamy mouthfeel, intense espresso bean coffee (quality), bitter chocolate, a hint of char/ash. Finish is very long with medium bitterness. Delicious.

On tap poured a translucent dark brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of coffee, bakers cocoa and roasted malt. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of coffee, bitter chocolate, roasted malt and light licorice with a smooth dry lingering bittersweet finish.

I entered this beer, but I didn’t have a description, so please feel free to update it. On tap at Stone’s 12th Anniversary Celebration. Black with microbubble light tan head. Smooth sweet mouthfeel. Very easy to drink. Alcohol well hidden. Wonderful aroma of some malt and some chocolate.
