Oct 9, 2007 Pours mostly clear deep amber (one of the first pours). Thin diminishing head to nothing. Aroma is fruity, only light oxidation, light esters, no fusels for such a high abv- moslty malty. Good thick malt presence and tons of caramel with a little ox. I think this one was almost as good as the 00 I had a couple months ago.

Oct 7, 2007 Bottle. Poured a deep and cloudy amberish / brown color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, toffee, citrus, and dark fruits. Tastes of dark fruits, citrus, caramel, vanilla, and toffee. Malty sweet. This one aged well.

Oct 7, 2007 Poured a murky red brown color with a small, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of oxidized sherry, dried fruits, citrus, a bit of hops, with caramel malts, and some vanilla oakiness. Taste of more sherry, dark fruits, citrus, tobacco, resin, with vanilla, and a bit of alcohol in the finish. Thanks Walt!

Oct 6, 2007 Pours a hazy brown with a smaller bubbly off white head. Aroma of dark fruits, caramel, vanilla and toffee. Flavor of lots of toffee/caramel malts, dark fruits and a touch of vanilla.

Jun 14, 2007 Brown ruby hue, with no head. Aroma is caramel, alcohol, toffee, light chocolate. Taste is light chocolate, dried fruits, toffee, alcohol, very low level carbonation which hurts the beer.

Jun 14, 2007 Bottle from Alldaydrinker; Nose of plums, raisins, and molasses. smelled well aged; Rusty red with just six medium bubbles on one side of the glass; Flavor of caramel, fruitiness, and a smidgeon of alcohol; very smooth, medium body, finish of light molasses and alcohol.
