Commercial Description:
For the sixth year we have faithfully produced the next edition in our impressive series of annual limited beers. Copious amounts of Pale, Chocolate, and Munich malts gives the mouthfeel to this brew. Additionally, twenty pounds of East African Cocoa combines with subtle raspberry flavors to accentuate the beer's creative backbone. Though not laden with hop bitterness, we chose the Perle hop's mild spice and sweetness to complement the chocolate in this ale. Unusual care and a year of aging, as well as hand corking and a never to be used again recipe give this beer a signature flavor which should only improve with time. It is extremely limited, extremely strong, and extremely original, because as we like to say around here "It's All About Extremes!" 11.7% Alcohol by Volume.

RBSG 2007. Hellomynameis continues the Storm carnage. Brown color with no head. The aroma and taste are damn near identical. Both are salty with a raw barley hit. The only noticeable difference is it smells like it would be sweet, but a lot of bitterness comes out in the taste. Not bad at all.

Nose-grape, black pepper. Body-murky brown with a thin ring of bubbles and thin film of bubbles. Taste-woody, chocolate, rodent nest, dry, tootsie rolls, chocolate powder, medium CO2, powdered chocolate dominates, soy, unami, caramel.

750ml bottle, thanks to jjpm74. Translucent brownish-red, small head left the glass quickly. Lots of chocolate-cocoa in the nose and taste with just a hint of raspberry. Full and creamy on the palate, a unique beer.

Cloudy dark copper pour, scant light tan head. Sweet maltiness on the nose, slightly spicey. Palate is slick and smooth, very little carbonation. Flavor is a weird mix of maltiness and tartness, finished with a small amount of hop bitterness.

Poured a dark reddish-brown with not much head. Maybe this bottle was odd somehow, but this beer was just really strange. Aroma of pumpkin guts, soured berries, old trash that needs to be taken out, applecores, etc. Despite the rank aroma, this tasted alright at first with some flavors of sweet caramel, brown sugar, wood, light roast---oh, and then the rotten pumpkin guts make their appearance. Finishes a little hot with some raisin and more rotten fruit. I didn’t notice the body and texture much cause I was so confused by the aroma and flavor. Something went wrong at some stage with this beer...

Bottled. Dark brown and slightly hazy. No head to mention. Very fruity aroma of red berries, black cherries, caramel, dark chocolate and flowers. Full and soft flavour with strong notes of over-riped cherries and red berries with touches of sweet licorice, sweet floowers and alcohol. Long fruity and warming finish red berries.

Bottled, thanks jjpm74! Cloudy mahogany colour, no head. Fruity red currant aroma. Sweet and densely malty with cocoa and plum brandy. Full bodied with sensational tang of chipotles and raspberries. Complicated, warming and unusual.
