Bottle courtesy of jkwalking05. Pretty red appearance. Clouded, much like young Skywalker’s future. Heavy scents with raisin and old fruit. Oooo nice flavor of aged raisin and plum. Wood tinted around the edges. Pleasant feeling. A little finish of hops.

Bottle, thanks to WeeHeavySD for sharing. Pours a clear brownish-red with an off-white ring. Rich aroma, of malt, booze, dark fruits, and wood. Big taste, similar to the nose, sweet, with a lot of alcohol. Lingering rich alcohol flavors. Very nice, will probably even be better after it’s aged a bit.

300th big beer rating, 9th raing of this big old american strong. Bottle via trade. Pours deep brown with a tan quarter finger head. Nose is sweet and astringent, big booze in there. Taste is very sweet with lots of molasses. The alc is big in the nose but to me is limited in the taste. This is much better than the ratings would suggest, yeah its big and yeah its boozy, but less so than most would guess. Gotta say the taste is nice, and palatte ain’t bad I am going to buck the trend here. I like this big old monster.

Fruity aromas, soft raspberries, with hints of smoke on the nose. Pours a dark red amber with no head. Very spicy, sweet malts, very mild tartness, a little funky, not bad but i’m not sure about it.
