Bottle, from Julio’s. Ok nose, sweet. Tootsie roll kinda chocolate, lite fruit, cherry, apple, grape. Clean reddish brown color, small to no head. Sweet flavors, like aromas. Chocolate, caramel, fruit. ABV shows itself. Medium body, creamy syrupy mouthfeel, sweet dry finish. Has bite. Tasty Bock. Nice to see it finally show up in Mass.

Bottle. Cler brown with a medium sized head. Aroma is malty with some dried fruits and alcohol. Taste is balanced though with flavors of toffee and bitter hops. Dried cherries and figs are in there but they seem to almost be covered up by the rich malts. Smooth and somewhat dry with some bitterness.

Finally. Bottle at CT Brew Fest. Malty, caramelly roasted notes in the nose. Kind of vinous with a bit of booziness and some licorice in the nose. Transparent dark amber color with a tan haed. Starts sweet and very malty with some roastiness following. Slight alcohol burn in the middle. Kind of sweet and a bit cloying to me. I know Bocks/Maibocks are supposed to be on the sweet side, but this could use some more fermenting or something.

Nice deep garnet color with a moderate to large tan head. Green raisins, dates, roasted malt and possibly some Pac NW hops in there. Very nice, complex aroma. Flavors match, with dark fruits and deep malty flavors (molassas) up front. Background hops, very long finish. Very enjoyable.

Bottle. Dark copper-ruby body with minimal tan froth floating aimlessly on the surface. Aroma is rich dark malts, light alcohol, caramel, and hints of chocolate. Taste is big alcohol, caramel, dark chocolate, roasty malts, raisins, and almost some thinned grassy notes. Body is medium with lots of alcohol warmth and mild carbonation feel. Finishes with more alcohol, roasty malts, brown sugar, caramel, light hints of dark chocolate and more thinned grassiness. In a nutshell, it’s a big suped up bock.
