Commercial Description:
Gloria is an 7.3% abv Pumpkin Ale. In addition to the 100s of pounds of pumpkin added to the mash, Gloria has a variety of spices including nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove to balance the malty beer. The deep amber color and warm mouth feel are sure to make you feel warm on a cool night.

12 oz bottle, via Alldaydrinker. Pours a clear orange to copper body under a small fizzy off-white head that quickly vanished. The nose is pretty authentic smelling, lots of earthy pumpkin meat with accents of nutmeg and allspice. Some nice well-done pie crust notes. The flavor is quite surprisingly nice, lots of meaty pumpkin throughout with the spices strictly playing second fiddle. Lingering toasty maltiness on the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a slight stickiness that coats the mouth, but doesn’t get cloying. Pleasant moderate fine carbonation. Overall, this was pretty damn good and quite a surprise. Among my favorite bottled pumpkin beers.

12 oz. bottle and a thank you to my brother in Rhode Island for sending a six-pack down to me. Pours a hazy orange-gold with a thin yellow-white head that disappeared after about a quarter of a glass. Pleasant aroma of pumpkin and some light spice as well. The flavor was very nice with pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice all in the proper proportion. Some moderate bitterness at the finish. I really enjoy pumpkin ales and this tasty beer did not disappoint.

Thanks to Aaron for this one. Adding rating #10 to make this one official! Amber color, somewhat low carbonation. Strong pumpkin spice aroma. Flavor is sweet, and plenty spicy. Thin on the palate.

12oz bottles shared by argo0. Perfumy milky pumpkin and pine sap nose. Sweet flavor, mildly syrupy, perfumy, with some caramel and red apple and nutmeg showing up very strong. Good studd, frothy but not heavy, syrupy, perfumy in the finish.

An almost clear, merky, copper amber color. Smells very sweet, pumpkin pie, and cinnamon nutmeg scent. Definitely smells and tastes more like a good pumpkin pie than just regular pumpkin. Smooth, meduim feel, easy to drink. Maybe a little watery and a little to sugary. Has some tea flavor qualities also. If you like pumkin ales, i imagine you would like this, i did. I really enjoy the cyclone series, and this one is another good beer to add to the collection. Not a super great beer, but not too bad either.

12oz bottle, courtesy of argo0. Thanks, Aaron! Pours a bright, clear orange color; off-white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Mostly cloves and nutmeg in the aroma, with some cinnamon; not overly spicy or harsh, like some, but a bit reserved. Medium mouthfeel: chewy candy sugar and soft spices (cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg); singular candy malt character; decent, soft pumpkin ale; a bit overripe at mid-palate. Medium finish, showing sugar and very light spicing.
