Jan 27, 2008 (12oz bottle) Clear amber body topped by medium beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, nutmeg, floral, spice. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, nutmeg, pumpkin pie, allspice. Smooth medium body.

Jul 30, 2008 Pours a transparent orange bronze with a thin, wispy-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet toasty caramel malt and fresh pumpkin with a touch of cinnamon spice. Body starts fairly full with good sweetness and pumpkin flavor throughout well balanced with mild spice. An enjoyable pumpkin ale.

Nov 29, 2008 Bottle... Hazy amber ale with orange highlights and a small, creamy, white head. Smells like pumpkin roll... ahhh, pumpkin roll...spicy... pumpkiny...good! Medium to full-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Sweet, pumpkiny, spicy, breadsy – some sugar cookie. Sugary-sweet finish. <b>Thanks to beerbill for the bottle!</b>

Nov 18, 2007 Bottle. I had to actually trade for this. What’s going on with Coastal Extreme and CT distro? Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of pumpkin spices and biscuity with some hints of citrus. Tastes spicy with some underlying sweet malty hints. Mouthfeel is full bodied on this one. Some dry touches emerge as the beer warms. Finish yields more pumpkin pie spices. Spices are subdued but present in this one. Not bad. Wish it saw some distribution in CT.

Jan 30, 2008 12oz bottles shared by argo0. Perfumy milky pumpkin and pine sap nose. Sweet flavor, mildly syrupy, perfumy, with some caramel and red apple and nutmeg showing up very strong. Good studd, frothy but not heavy, syrupy, perfumy in the finish.

Apr 9, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a deep coppery orange with a thinning fizzy head. Aroma is spicy, dry herbal, earthy, pumpkin spice- nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice and hints of ginger? Thin malt backbone in the flavor- gets spciy phenolic, dry dark toasted malts, artificial spices, green, grassy and a slightly harsh weak finish. meh.

Jun 25, 2008 12 oz bottle from alldaydrinker; nose of pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg; lightly hazy orange with a small, yellow-tinged head; flavor is very spicy pumpkin, with the nutmeg, then cinnamon showing up, not too sweet, with a slightly bitter finish. Pretty good pumpkin ale!
