| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 30, 2008 Pours a transparent dark copper mahogany with a thin, tan head. Aroma of lightly sweet toasty caramel malt and some lightly fruity tart notes. Body starts fizzy and effervescent with a touch of sweetness giving way to more of a drier tart earthy finish. The tartness seems unintended, which leads me to believe this would’ve probably been better fresher. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA
