Aug 27, 2009 12oz bottle. Poured a deeper and cloudy brown color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, roastiness, and toasted nuttiness. Tastes of roast, nuttiness, chocolate, caramel, and some earthiness.

Jul 30, 2008 Pours a transparent dark copper mahogany with a thin, tan head. Aroma of lightly sweet toasty caramel malt and some lightly fruity tart notes. Body starts fizzy and effervescent with a touch of sweetness giving way to more of a drier tart earthy finish. The tartness seems unintended, which leads me to believe this would’ve probably been better fresher.

Apr 12, 2008 Poured a clear deep ruby color with a small off-white head. The aroma was roasty with some cocoa and some sweetness. Hint of smoky ash. Toast roast flavor with some notes of cola. Light to medium bodied with a semi-dry finish.

Jul 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark brown body with an off tan head. Aroma/flavor is chocolate sweet malt and is sweet the whole way through. A little warming in the flavor but the whole thing just tastes off. eh.
