Poured into a pint glass, leaving a 1 finger head that disappeared slowly, leaving a fine lace. Drak orange/Amber color with a slight haze. Smells of caramel, toffee, citrus and pine. Taste is malty with cramel being the strongest note, though some biscuit/bready flavor comes through as well. Hop flavor is citrusy with both grapefruit and orange; Finishes with hintys of pine that linger on the tongue. Crabonation is medium and matches well, helping to bring out the sweet malt and hop bouquet. Alcohol definately comes through in the end, but for a 9% ABV it is too be expected and is not overwhelming. I tried this after really liking the newest Cyclone James. I am just as impressed with Isabel.

12 once bottle courtesy of beerbill. Thanks! Pours a deep red color with a medium head, poor head retention and lacing. The aroma is nuts, chocolate, caramel and some faint fruity notes. Taste is nutty with some fruity notes, hops, caramel and tea. Medium bodied and quite interesting.

Pours a very nice very slight hazy dark golden amber/brownish color, very nice carbonation, nice little creamy off-white head, with some nice small islands and sticky lacing left behind. The nose is malty, very slight toffee, with a nice note of spices. The taste is sweet, malty, slight toffee, and some spices. Medium body, the finish is sweet on the tongue. Drinkable, this is a very nice brew, glad to have had a chance to try it, thanks Wayne.

Bottle... Hazy amber ale with a minimal, creamy, white head. Black tea, toffee and caramel aroma with whimpers of citrus and tropical fruit. Medium to full-bodied with moderate carbonation. Leans on the sweet side of balance, but not by much. Huge caramel malt backbone shores up black tea and grapefruit rind bitterness... almost works. Lengthy, bittersweet finish, but the bitterness lingers a long, long time. Bottle courtesy of beerbill!

12oz bottle acquired in trade with beerbill (and an extra from my wants list to boot - thanks!). Poured a medium and hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, floral, some caramel, and just nice and hoppy. Tastes of citrus, caramel, some spices, and had a lighter floralness. Alcohol content well hidden. Had a nice balance to it too (with the hops heavier in the aromas). Some lacing left on the glass. I liked this one!

Pours amber with a decent white head. Smells of pine, citrus, some caramel. Tastes bitter with a nice compliment of spice, resin, sage and citrus. Enjoyable.

Bottle. Amber pour with thin fizzy white head. Aroma of floral hops and some faint grapefruit notes. Taste of faint malt with hops present. Slight alcohol warming with the finish. An interesting combination, one of their better seasonals.

Pours a cloudy amber color with a thin head and some laceing along the sides of the glass. The nose is very floral and full of citrus and grapefruit hops with some hints of honey and spice as well, mainly corrieander. The flavor is nice and robust with a biter bite initially and has a good balance of flavor and carbonation. The flavor also has a nice gritty like texture on the palate.
