Tap....pours out a decent color amber with a small head. The aroma is more like a pilsner than an Oktoberfest. The taste is strange, not at all like a typical Oktober, more like the step-child of a pilsner and an oktober. None the less it was an interesting brew.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear amber with a pillowy white head. Light aroma of hops. I did not get much malt flavor at all. Some very light citrus flavors and hop biterness, and that was about it. An OK beer, but nothing special.

Malty and more subdued than most American Oktoberfests, but elements of the beers commonly associated with this fest can be found on the nose; nuts, yogurt, citrus and the taste; yogurt, grassy, bittersweet.

Not a bad beer, but certainly nothing special. Didn’t deviate much from the traditional Oktoberfest cast, but still tasted good without a doubt. Just don’t expect to be wowed.

Tap from brewery. Poured to a deep orange color with an off white head. A medium bodied beer with a mildly hoppy smell and orange flavors are present. A very short finish no real lasting flavors and very smooth. Very mild flavors making it seem lmost non-alcoholic.

Clear amber pour with a good size white head. Nutty, toasted, malty aroma. Strange hop aroma in there as well (orange citrus). Toasted nut flavor, sweet with small hop bitters. Light, good body, and somewhat fizzy. Nutty aftertaste. Overall a little bland. Looks good and smells good, but flavor and palate can’t keep up.
