A little lighter color than most Oktoberfests I’ve seen. Thin foamy, dissapearing head. Plain light spicy aroma, wasn’t too great. Flavor was the best part about this beer. Good spices, caramel. A little dull. Not bad muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA

Taste is light hops with stronger fruit notes and light sweetness and malts. There are some berry flavors along with some light spiciness as well. Body is medium with mild carbonation sharpness. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 9, 2004 2004 bottle @ Sunset Grill. Pours a moderately deep orange-copper. Very clear with a small lightly yellow tinged white head. Aroma of caramel corn, butter and lightly spicy hops. Flavor is quite sticy, buttery and pretty toffeeish. Good overall flavor of malt with a touch of hops hidden. As it warms, you can taste the light hops on the finish which give a good deal of flavor. Not overly crisp, more sticky and chewy, but at least it had a medium to medium full body which didnt thin out. Pretty tastey. DYCSoccer17 (2195), Davis, California, USA

Slightly metallic. Transparent copper color with a nice frothy jubilant white head. Caramel malts to start turning more roasted in the middle with a nice Saaz kick at the finish. Decent, but a little thin.
