Bottle: Hazy deep golden with a white film of head. Definite blueberry presence in the aroma- quite natural with a soft sweetness and more skin/tannin character along with a light grainy pale malt touch. Simple. Very light body- a bit vacant in texture. Dry, however in the flavor with a touch of blueberry skin and dry pale grains. No discerning hop character to speak of- it’s still drinkable despite it’s lack of body and depth.

12 ml bottle courtesy of coldbrewky. Thanks man. Pours a hazy orange-yellow color. The aroma is big and bold with fresh berries, I get more blackberry than blueberry. The taste profile is similar to the nose, I get plenty of blackberry and just a hint of blueberry. But overall the taste does not quite live up to the foreshadowing of the aroma. The hops provide a nice biter complexity and prevent this from turning into some overly sweet fruit beer. The palate is a bit thin and watery. The finish is long with lingering berry flavors. Overall: Not on par with New Glarus’ fruit beers but still quite good.

12oz bottle, thanks to summer secret Santa. Pours slightly hazy orange amber, with a thin off white head. Somewhat tart blueberry aroma, with some lemon and spice. Flavors of grain, caramel, white grape juice, and blueberry skin. Thin to medium bodied. Like most other blueberry ales I’ve tried, the aroma is more enticing than the flavor.

From a bottle into a pint glass. Pours light brown with a little head which quickly dissipates. No lacing. The best part of this beer is the smell. It REALLY smells like fresh picked blueberries. Unfortunately, the taste does not live up to the smell. It tastes like mildly flavored blueberry Budweiser. Very disappointing. As a novelty, I’m glad I tried it but I would not drink again and certainly not buy it again.

@CBC–on tap-pours a thin rich white head and yellow color. Aroma is lots of blueberry. Tast is blueberry, spice hops, light malt. Aggressive carbonation.

This beer has a tremendous real blueberry aroma and a nice, lightly sweet blueberry flavor. Gets a bit cloying and over the top fruity after the first few sips for me, so I wouldn’t want more than one at a sitting, but it’s still pretty good.

Bottle thanks to Skyinbrian. Another new state! Pours a fizzy gold with disappearing head. Nose is raspberries and blueberry muffins, sweet malts. Taste is kind of like a bready, caramelized spritzer with a light blueberry note. Not super acidic, and definitely not too sweet. Not too shabby, definitely a fruit beer.

Pours a nice coppery yellow. Aroma is all fresh blueberries. Taste is light, just slightly sweet with a tart blueberry finish...pretty much no hop presence. This actually is just about all that you could ask of a fruit beer and definately not too sweet.
