Pours orange with a tan head. The nose is big blueberry from just cracking the top. Taste is light blueberry, but kinda crappy. Alrighty then, on to the next fruitty crap storm. golubj (1300), Sunnyvale, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 10, 2008 Bottle. Gold-yellow pour with almost no head. The aroma was twiggy blueberries and straw / dry pale malt. The flavor was the same, but a good balance of sweet blueberry flavor and dry malt. One of the better blueberry beers I have had. halfonit (485), Fall River, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 1, 2008 This is probably one of the better blueberry flavored beers I’ve had. It has a nice and smooth blueberry flavor without too much of a bitter aftertaste (That usually seems to happen to me for some reason with blueberry beers). A pleasant consumption. I will have this again. beerbill (1985), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jan 31, 2008 12 oz. bottle. This is a beer I’ve had a number of times and just discovered I haven’t entered a rating. From my notes taken September, 2007. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Very pleasant aroma of blueberries. The flavor is again blueberries with a light malty backbone. The finish is a bit odd with an ever-so-slightly soapy taste that has a somewhat slick mouthfeel to it. Still, a nice summer ale that goes down very easily to enjoy when its hot. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 30, 2008 Very strong blueberry scent, almost too strong. Not as sweet as i would think. Blueberry beers are very popular in New England, especially with non-beer drinkers. Tastes very ale-ly, a little bitter, almost a mix of their amber ale with blueberries. Not my favorite, but not too bad either. BBB63 (4283), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 24, 2008 (Rating #3400 - Another one hundred bites the dust) Bottle and served in a NB Flute glass: Golden hue with a fading fizzy head and minimal head. The aroma is more towards a cooked blueberry than something fresh off the bush but that is not saying it is bad, just a sweeter aroma. Founds some bready malts and even a hint of caramel too. The taste displays the fruit very well with a background of soft grains and earthy character. The mouth feel is fuller than normally found within the genre. I really like this and it is a rare fruit beer that gets better as it warms. If you are not afraid of the style then you should try this. PeterA (339), Virginia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 4, 2007 Smells of blueberries, making me think of Maine. The appearance was coppery with a thin white head that leaves little lacing on the glass. The flavor is blueberries and ale, but it’s not sweet like many fruit beers, it’s tart. There seems to be a good ale behind this, the aftertaste is a little bit on the bitter side instead of being sticky sweet like many of this style. A nice beer. kevd193213 (519), Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA

Light golden pour with thin fizzy head. Aroma of, what else, blueberry and breat. Blueberry and hop taste with a light finish, great for the summer.
