(March 1st- April 30th) Deep ruby red in color, this well balanced ale has roasted malt tones and a crisp hop character. It is in the Irish tradition and comes just in time for springtime thunderstorms.

Poured a clear copper color with a large creamy off-white head. Aroma of sweaty feet. Vegetal. Mildly tart with a mild caramel. Appears to be lightly infieted.

This beer was poured into a nice beer stein and didnt have tat much of a head to it. The smell is of hops and fruit and modertly potent. when you drink it you get the taste of malt and coffee but only a hint of coffee. still a good brew though definitly good for a spring beer. overall this beer has a good taste and does what it does best getting you drunk which in the end is the result that you ultimalty want.

Pours a clear, red amber with a resilient yet short off-white head that laces in layers. Smells of toffee, roasted malt, and coffee. The taste is earthy, with hints of toffee and bready malts in the background. The finish is long and ends dry. A little on the thin side.

12oz bottle via trade with zathrus13 - Thanks Jeff! - Pours copper and cloudy with a short offwhite head that stayed pretty well and laced the glass in layers.. Aromas of caramel, light toffee, and earthy notes. Flavor is caramel, toffee, bread, and a slight bitter finish. Very malty with lots of earthy characteristics. Palate is soft with much carbonation and medium body. Not too bad but overall pretty average..

Amber cin color with a large off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, bread, toast and mild hops. Sweet caramel flavors with some toasty/bread character. Medium body and overall a pleasant and easy drinking red ale.

Bottle. Scents of roasted malts and hops dominate the nose. Very little head. Flavors are coffee, some hops. Thin and watery.

Poured a dark amber-red color with a disappointing head that only provided basic lacing. Aroma was funky (butter and caramel?). The flavor was of caramel malts that was slightly bitter and accompanied by significant hopping (this tasted more like a dark amber ale than a true irish ale). Nothing to seek out here.

I wasn’t expecting much because to be honest I really don’t like this style much. Anyway it pours out a deep ruby hued amber color with a very small lacing head. Aroma is sweet with some roast and maybe some grassy aromas. The taste is smooth with not much going on there, more hops than some of this style which boosted the rating in my book, not a bad beer.
