PilsnerPeter (2585), Flushing, New York, USA Jun 22, 2009 Tap at ACBF 2009: This was listed as Summer IPA. Golden pour with an off white head. Clean spicy citrus hop aroma- some zesty lemon grass notes. Light creamy feel- flavor has notes of lychee and a solid zesty centennial like bitterness. Solid. (Why such low ratings?) jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA May 22, 2009 @CBC–on tap-pours a rich to rocky off white head and copper color. Aroma is nice sweet pine hops. Taste is nice sweet pine/resin hops with some bite, secondry medium malt. DarkBeerReign (10), Rhode Island, USA May 8, 2009 Had this at a beer tasting at Goode Spirits. This was a very good summer beer. It was light and refreshing, with a good fruit taste. Light beers aren’t really my favorites, but this was an excellent beer. barleynhops (82), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA Aug 6, 2008 Finally a brewer that makes a palatable summer ale. I enjoyed this one immensly. The flavor was much the same with the hop bitterness coming through with some citrus fruit. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with a slightly bitter finish from the hops. Kudos! nuplastikk (1157), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Jul 30, 2008 12oz bottle. It’s nice to see someone make a real full bodied and hoppy beer for a Summer Ale. Rich brown orange color. Mild, subdued aroma. Crisp hoppy mouthfeel. Great malt character, very thick thick and hoppy mouthfeel. A pleasant surprise indeed, this is a really nice IPA. guyinchicago (516), marengo, Illinois, USA Jul 29, 2008 poured a hazy amber wiyh nice white head and nice lacing. aromas of hops and grains and more hops taste was way to mild for an ipa finish dry and a little bitter juiceisloose (634), Windermere, Florida, USA Mar 22, 2008 Courtesy Elmatador00. This one poured a deep coppery orange color with a thin white head that dissipated quickly. The aroma had faint hints of citrus fruit, some hops, and a touch of caramel malts. The flavor was much the same with the hop bitterness coming through with some citrus fruit. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with a slightly bitter finish from the hops. This was a decent IPA but nothing special by any means. Cryotek (206), Pawtucket, Rhode Island, USA Mar 7, 2008 Summer of 07- What i like about this beer is thats a little stronger than most summer beers which are usually very light and watery. Hazy oragne color, sweety zesty flowery scent. Tastes sweet, citrus, weird hoppys, peper/spicey, bitter. Not great, but still ok.
