| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 5, 2005 (12oz bottle) Clear amber body topped by medium off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, orange, floral, caramel, light grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, orange, caramel, biscuit. Finishes with a medium orange/floral/light grapefruit bitterness that reveals the use of dry hopping. Light-medium body. Unusual to have an IPA as a summer seasonal, but the easy drinkability makes me think the brewery has the right idea. hopdog (5612), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured a medium and cloudy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aroma had an earthy skunkiness to it with some flowers. Tastes of light oranges and some grapefruit with light malts. Medium bitter with a somewhat watery body. I found this to be a below average and forgettable IPA. 4 4 5 3 9
Rerate. Bottle labeled best before Oct. I thoght this one was much better the 2nd time around!. Citrus with a light malt balance in the tastes. Increased the numbers a bunch. jcwattsrugger (5573), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 5, 2004 Clear, amber ale with a small, fizzy, white head. The nose is of honey, hot pepper and a fuzzy fruit blend. The flavor is malty and sweet up front and then becomes moderately bitter and very dry. Medium-bodied and astringent with lively carbonation. Lengthy, bitter, mojave-dry finish. Thanks to springslicker for the bottle. CaptainCougar (5526), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 26, 2005 Pours a clear bright copper with a well-lacing white head. Mild vegetable, earthy hoppy aroma has some grainy malt to it. Body is lightly sweet and has a strange earthy citric hoppiness. Otherwise an average IPA that could probably use a different type of hop and more aroma hops too. JorisPPattyn (5192), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 30, 2004 Huge, orangeish head, collapsing in big holes on clear orange beer. Grapey, flowery hops dominate the nose, with lunaria, nectarine. Pepper and ginger as well. Very hopbitter taste, but bitterness is shortlived, leaving a citrussy, peppery palate. High carbonation and peppery hops combine for a realy stimulating experience at the gums and mouth. Well bodied. Archetypal hoppy IPA. I must confess liking the style...
