rabba9 (61), Chaska, Minnesota, USA Oct 30, 2009 Bottle pours clear and near water-like with no head. Aroma is of granny smith apples yet unpleasant. Taste initially sweet and apples with a tart finish. Light in body and carbonation. Not that great the finish ruins it. drowland (1360), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 16, 2009 I honestly don’t remember when, why, or how I had this, but it’s down in my records, so obviously I did! dkachur (2318), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jun 20, 2009 12 ounce bottle from Trader Joe’s in Short Pump, VA. Pours a very pale yellow... almost colorless. Crystal clear with lots of carbonation. Not much of an effort at a head. Aroma is tart, grainy apples. Taste is sweet apples with a tart finish. Thin bodied. Glad I cracked this first because I’m extremely thirsty, but that’s about as much good as it does. unclemattie (2370), Georgia, USA Jun 12, 2009 Green, short 12oz twist-off bottle. Sake colored, clear, like the color of the "meat" of a freshly sliced apple. Very watered down. Flavorless, except for some light granny tartness. 22 nov 08 phukktifano (159), Richmond, Virginia, USA Apr 20, 2009 Very pale yellow with an aroma of sweet apple. ChainGangGuy (2523), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Mar 24, 2009 Appearance: Pours a clear, still, achromatic body.
Smell: There’s nothing quite like the tart-scented, Jolly Rancher-esque green apple aroma of mass-produced cider.
Taste: Tart, sugary sweet taste of concentrated green apples that develops a bit more tartness as you reach the drying finish. Nominal sulfite character. Simple and okay for one of these things.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Exceedingly low carbonation.
Drinkability: A small step below the Authentic Draft Cider. La Face Cachée de la Pomme Frimas, where are you when I need you?!
