Commercial Description:
Golden straw in color, with a pronounced nose of Granny Smith apples. The marriage of apples and malt delivers a pleasant refreshing dry finish. Served cold, the taste gives you the feeling of biting into a fresh hand-picked apple.

Clean white, tight head. Hazy copper/gold color.Appley(duh) slightly sour nose with some malt showing thriugh also.Light/medium body, kinda spritzy. Medium sweet. Mainly apples with some malt flavors backing them up. Do taste some oxydation too. Was expecting a little boones farm apple wine flashback, but it aint like that! Good damn thing. Neat brew. Wonder how old it is? HMMMMM.

Somewhat cloudy medium golden color, nice creamy head leaves a substantial creamy ring. Aroma is apple, of course, but also a decent amount of grainy malt; pretty pleasant. Flavor is pretty interesting; not great, I said, but interesting. Smooth and flat at the outset, with some carbonation and alcohol kicking in, and a malt content that as Oakes notes doesn't entirely work together in the mix. It's like apple juice with some 7Up and bourbon poured in. Strangely compelling to me (an apple freak) but unbalanced and weird; I wouldn't recommend it to most.

(Bottle) You are probably going to find me strange for this review but I actually like the balance of this beer and find it much smoother and easier to stomach than Honey Browns. I'll even dare to say its got some complexity to it! Pours a thin, creamy, white head that dissipates to a skin lacing covering a beautifully carbonated amber body. Very floral nose with strong apple mention. Apple front, nice mid-palate bitterness slinking into a subtle malt, like drinking rose pedals... Smooth finish and not too sweet. Lovely, darling! Grossly underrated. I only wish it was in greater distribution throughout Ontario.

I remember this beer being better a few years ago, but I still tend to like this more than most. I find it well balanced between the fruit and beer flavours. a little one dimensional, but still enjoyable.

Almost an apple cider but with a little malt and hops. Too sweet for my tastes but if you want something that tastes like a cider as oposed to beer: this is for you

Apple, hops and candy smell. Dark amber, slightly carbonated, no head. Good bitterness and apple taste. Not too sweet. Very nice.

I remember the aroma of green apples being a lot bigger. This sample had a weak aroma. Sweet concentrated apple juice tastes. Plasticky, dry, too sweet.
