I'll even dare to say its got some complexity to it! Pours a thin, creamy, white head that dissipates to a skin lacing covering a beautifully carbonated amber body. Very floral nose with strong apple mention. Apple front, nice mid-palate bitterness slinking into a subtle malt, like drinking rose pedals... Smooth finish and not too sweet. Lovely, darling! Grossly underrated. I only wish it was in greater distribution throughout Ontario. jerc (3936), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 10, 2004 I used to get kegs of this for parties when at school in the Niagara Region. I recently revisited in bottle form. On draught I enjoyed the blend of apples and beer – I thought they managed the balanced ok – it had a great aroma and I found the apple presence notable, but the beer still had an assertive malt base that let you know you were not drinking a cider. In the bottles though, I have found it to be inconsistent, with the balance being affected the most. This is a fine line beer that you need to get right every time. Not for everyone. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 20, 2002 Apple, hops and candy smell. Dark amber, slightly carbonated, no head. Good bitterness and apple taste. Not too sweet. Very nice. Drew (2409), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jun 23, 2003 I will simply quote my friend Alicia on this one: "Green Apple Jolly Rancher". Also, besides smelling fantastic, it had a nice dry finish that added to it's thirst quench-ability! Wonderful. mrkimchee (1414), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 18, 2002 I remember this beer being better a few years ago, but I still tend to like this more than most. I find it well balanced between the fruit and beer flavours. a little one dimensional, but still enjoyable. jbrus (4872), Delft, Netherlands
