The hops stand out, but doesn’t really suit the malt variety. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 14, 2005 Sampled from a bottle, this one pours to a thin, tan head with a lightly hazy garnet colored body. The aroma has a huge doughy aroma with cherries and milk chocolate. The flavor is biscuits that have been wood fire roasted with a cherry vanilla glaze on them. There’s something slightly odd with the flavor that I can’t pinpoint or describe. Perhaps that’s the odd hops they used? The palate is a tad thin and slick. Needs to be fuller bodied. Can’t say that I’m a fan... heemer77 (4305), Savannah, Missouri, USA

Light brown color with just very thin traces of a head. The aroma is cherries and oak. The mouthfeel is thin with plenty of carbonation. The taste is wood and cherries with some slight vanilla character. This is interesting, but nothing extraordinary.
