| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 11, 2004 I would describe this beer like a lot of teachers have described me. Lots of potential, but just doesn’t apply itself all the way. My bottle poured out a burnished gold/amber colour. The nose is alright with a bit of grapefruit. The flavour gives you the idea that this beer could be incredible. The first taste is great white grapefruit, but it quickly fades into a blandmalt taste with almost no aftertaste. Almost great, but falls short. GregClow (2499), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Nice floral & fruity hops on the nose. Flavour of sweet honey, caramel malt and resiny hops. Quick, dry finish. joeycapps (1466), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 5, 2004 This beer is a dark amber color with a medium thin light beige head and decent lacing. The aroma is a little fruity (sour apple) with a pinch of hops. Medium-bodied and tart, with flavors of malt, molasses and sour fruit. Very little hops in the flavor or finish. As for the finish it is lightly bitter and short. Overall this beer is not very impressive. pootzboy (1048), Hawgville, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 12, 2004 Pours a oraney-gold with a smallish head that reduces to a fine lace that stays the drink. Lightly carbonated. Aromas of sweet tangerines and pine with cooked grains. Started peppery sharp and tart but mellowed to a sweetish meduim body accented by some citrus hop balance then the finish i s dry and tart....not a bad Pale and very well put together but nothing really stands out....Mind you I’d never turn one of these down over a Sleemans.
