Apr 13, 2004 English hop nose with some citrus. Very bitter when it hits the tounge, a little floral. Sweet finish.

Apr 1, 2004 Fresh and citrusy and hoppy and piney - but all in limited quantities. Thin body with some mild hops and a medium bitter finish. The best thing was probably the nice amber-coppery colour, but overall a drinkable ale. Nothing outstanding but also nothing overly offensive.

Mar 20, 2004 Great amber color. Flavor appears to be a balance of hops and yeast. Much like other recipes from this brewery, has a destinctive flavor and feel.

Aug 11, 2003 TFOB. Bit less hoppy than I remember. Amber, not much head. Nicely bitter with some malt in the aroma.

Jun 30, 2003 Aroma of grasses and horseblanket, molasses. The farmyard manure stench doesn't work for me. Pours golden yellow, head minimal. Butter, feces and no hops for the taste. A terrible aftertaste. New marketing slogan: "We put a piece of crap in every bottle!"
