This is a little timid and unbalanced, besides, but seriously, every beer around here tastes the same and it’s getting on my nerves. Rastacouere (5561), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 16, 2006 Clear and bright deep golden ale of limited head growing potential. Quite fruity up front, more so than I expected, it immediately proposes citrus, tart honeyed apple and orange notes, a strange mixture that ultimately works okay, but feels quite alone as the hop profile is highly simplistic, barely whispering some flowery suggestions. Light bodied and without much substance, light-to-moderate carbonation. Perhaps a bit too clean. Getting a bit old I imagine, but oxidation was not really advanced, carrying perhaps minimal old pencil/graphite notes. MartinT (5068), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 23, 2006 Dark gold with orange hues, and a nice thcik white head. A light biscuitty malt arises with light English hops, and some apple esters. In mouth, a good decent EPA with night floral hops, some orange notes, and sweet caramel malt, rather short in mouth, with light metallic finish. A decent ale. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Clear golden coloured body with a slight cover of white head that recedes rapidly to ring. Sharp hop bitterness up front with floral, orange, grapefruit hop flavour joined by mild butterscotch and a tame caramel malt sweetness. Light and somewhat thin with moderate carbonation. Shaker, just above fridge temp. Bottle (RBSG’05 leftovers). heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA
