Poured a nice amber colour. Aroma is good and the hint of apples makes it very drinkable. daboskabouter (1470), Fergus, Ontario, Canada

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 28, 2005 Niagara Bottle: Poured a very light brown ale with nice head with good retention. Aroma is a mix between floral hops and strong malt. Taste is very similar to your average APA but with less sweetness and a bit more bitterness at the end. I was quite surprise since I was expecting a boring macro pale ale but nothing as good as this. Looking back at some other rating, I’m now wondering if my taste buds were out yesterday or if they change their recipe. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 12, 2003 Hoppy, malt aroma, with a hint of apple. Deep amber, pours a medium sized vanilla head, pretty nice lace. Malt, hops flavour with a nutty aftertaste. Well balanced, a dry finish. A fine Pale Ale, I’d say a good session beer. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 30, 2007 341ml bottle, courtesy VeloVampire - pours clear honey/gold with a small white head. Good fruity/hoppy aroma. Good earthy/citrusy English hops in the flavour, blended well with the fruitiness of the sweet malt. Finish is ever-so-slightly bitter. Almost crisper than the same brewers pale lager, oddly enough. The two beers are actually fairly similar with this one obviously on the bolder side. Quite hoppy (for an Ontario pale ale). With a little more west-coast style (a bigger piney/citrus kick) this would be awesome stuff I think. Radek Kliber (4000), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada
