On tap at Niagara’s Best. Pours a milky apricot hued dull gold with a thin white head. Slightly cheesy and a bit skunky hop notes, lots of grain. Creamy and with more skunky grain flavors. Two in a row like that. Finishes dry and grainy.

Taps a pale hazed lager with a 1 finger white cao that does not last (what is it with this brewer and lame caps?). Mild aroma for a Pilsner. Light biscuit malts some faint floral spiciness. Soft mouth feel, lightly mineral with dry cereal malting and proper balance in grassy bittering, Finish is clean and lightly dry. Average but fresh and clean.

[2444-20090814] Tap. Mild grains aroma doesn’t have much, hints at cardboard. Hazy, light brown body with a quick creamy white head. Tangy dandelion flavour hints at some mild citrus pips. Light-medium body. Odd and a bit rough but interesting.

2009-08-14. Surprisingly hazy pale pastel yellow, we thought this might be the wit before sampling it. (3+) Mil aroma, light hops are pleasant but a touch muted. (5+) Flavour has a decent amount of hoppy bitterness, light straw and grassy undertones, bitterness grows as the glass goes on. (6+) Average palate is lightly carbonated. Quaffable but mild. I am not personally a fan of Saaz hops so other might like it more than me. On tap at the brewpub

This is intended as a hoppy pilsner, but has disapointed although a 38 ibu for a pils. Saaz hops, a little reddish colour, lacey, caesar head. Weak mouthfeel, sweetish. Not too drinkable. Aggressive carbonation. No aroma.
