Jun 23, 2008 Bottle 33cl. Black colour with a nice thin creamy brown head. Aroma and taste of roasted malts,coffee, sweet liqurice and dark sugars. Dry taste but very pleasant mouthfeel. Low carbonation. A very very very nice porter! Waiting for the Nibe Barley:-)

Jun 12, 2008 Bottle. Black of color with a nice brown head. An aroma with notes of roasted malt, coffee, liqurice and hints of chocolate and dark fruits. A flavor with notes roasted malt, coffee, dry but still sweet hints. A very nice porter!

Jun 4, 2008 Draft at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt as well as medium notes of citrus and chocolate, and light notes of coffee. The flavor is very sweet malty with strong notes of roasted malt.

Jul 6, 2008 Draught at ÅBF08. Roasted, plasticky aroma. Black colour, light brown head. Roasted flavour, nicely creamy. Also creamy flavour, slightly sweet and very nice.

Pours almost completely black with a fine, small, creamy, cappucino head. Fair retention, and settles as a thin film with okay lacing. Nice aroma, generally rather sweet. Some prunes mix with well-roasted notes and some clear sweet milk-chocolate. Fine, quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is nice, lots of roasted tones - especially in the long-running finish. There is plenty of chocolate in here as well, I’d just liked it to be less sweet in its first impression. Otherwise a very solid offering.
