Black with a small off-white head, leaving a fine lace. Dark malty aroma with a licorice note. Sweetish and strong roast, pleasant flavour, with the licorice returning.

Jul 6, 2008 Draught at ÅBF08. Roasted, plasticky aroma. Black colour, light brown head. Roasted flavour, nicely creamy. Also creamy flavour, slightly sweet and very nice.

Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lancing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, vanilla notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (180508)

Jun 27, 2008 Bottle. Black with brown long lasting head. Aroma of licorice and some hopps and roasted malt. Taste with lots and lots of licorice, sweet and some roasted malts. *Finish a little short, but a nice beer. They don´t intend to make monster beers but they are very chuffable. A deserved good scoring beer from Nibe. And I don´t have shares :)

Jun 23, 2008 Bottle 33cl. Black colour with a nice thin creamy brown head. Aroma and taste of roasted malts,coffee, sweet liqurice and dark sugars. Dry taste but very pleasant mouthfeel. Low carbonation. A very very very nice porter! Waiting for the Nibe Barley:-)

Jun 12, 2008 Bottle. Black of color with a nice brown head. An aroma with notes of roasted malt, coffee, liqurice and hints of chocolate and dark fruits. A flavor with notes roasted malt, coffee, dry but still sweet hints. A very nice porter!
