There is lightly fruit and a solid base of sweet malt with the hops no where to be found. It might best be described as a classic Belgian strong; it doesn’t try to push any boundaries or make you think too hard. Dark brown and medium carbonation. altonbrownd (1888), Amsterdam, Netherlands

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Nov 24, 2006 This beer was nice, it just lacked body, the alcohol was up there, but just felt watery on the palate which really took away the character of the beer. Light brown/copper in color, very clear, with a thin white head. Honey and caramel in the nose and a lightly spicy finish. Just to thin for my tastes. thomat (666), Göteborg, Sweden
