Alcohol interferes with aroma -meaning, I guess, that I don’t detect anything strongly. Dark ruby brown color. Flavor is malt, accompanied by unassignable fruit. A bit sweet, but that’s expected. The malt overpowers the hops at the finish. Very drinkable, but perhaps a bit of citrus would balance things.

Dark ruby, mostly clear body. Big creamy light-tan head. Looks very nice. Lacing is superb. The aroma is coriander, citrus, and thyme. The thyme really comes out in the flavor. Malt backs the spice up, minimal hops. Sweetness is big but not overpowering in any way. The thyme keeps coming back, if you are not a fan of thyme you may not like this one. Sticky body with a decent amount of alcohol in the finish.

25.4 oz bottle. Pumpkin brown with a big head that settles to a skin. Moderate lacing. Standard yeasty-funky Belgian nose; thyme is evident but subtle. Crisp and bracing. Orangey with mild mulling spice. Sweet malts give it a holiday touch but still drinks like a blond.

75ml bottle from Downeast Beverage co. pours a murky dark brown. aroma is nutty and yeasty with malts, fruit and spiceyness. flavor reminds me of a lighter Gulden Draak. with many of the same attributes as the aroma. unique in that it finnishes with a distinctive yet balanced spiceyness, tyme, basil, coriander and citrus. very nice. the only downfall is that this beer seemed a bit thin, but that may be cause i drank a imperial stout right before. all in all a verry good beer, but a bit to expencive for my budget. about $9.50 for a big bottle. i would rather have a Gulden Draak if im gonna pay that money

Dark brown coloured, with a large off white head. NIce yeasty aroma, with some fruity and malty touches (nutty and raisins), light roasted and some caramel. Full body, creamy texture. Finish is light bitter, sweet again with some caramel, and some alcoholic hints.. A great beer.

dark brown haze with a tight tan head that laced and lasted the duration of the beer. nose of molasses and spices. i probably drank this a little too warm making the beer sweeter and more alcohol evident. rock candy and tobacco. nutmeg and earthen flavors with a touch of citrus. a bit overwhelming at first to my palate. but as i kept drinkn it got better.
