| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 27, 2006 Another dark brown brew. Not much of a head once it settles but it lasts. Herby, sweet, spicy. Drying finish. The thyme is noticable as is the curacao orange peel but they don’t dominate. The spiciness and candi sugar sweetness abound. As I close in on the bottom of the bottle I imagine playing in the fields with the gnomes, speaking of memories of days gone past and dreaming dreams of a future perfect. Ah, you gnomes. You purveyors of fine Belgian brews. You rakers of mash and shovelers of hops. You bottlers of visions. I toast thee and frolic in round about ways.

Weet raisin and spicey smell. Flavor is slightly sweet with dark fruit and raisins coming to the top. Some bitterness and alcohol in the end. Aftertaste stays with you awhile as you notice some dark candi sugar. Nice warm sensation in the throat when all is said and done. N’Ice. crzybob77 (528), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 23, 2006 Lots of alcohol is the first thing i noticed. Kinda leaves you in the finish feelin kinda like you took some liquor on the rocks. Other than that, it is matly sweet and yeasty. Honestly not really feelin this one. Just not really balanced and drinkable. ChillCoat (1029), Concord, California, USA

The aroma reminds me of a Whole Foods store, kindda a mix of teas and spices and produce and incense. Strange spicy flavor mixed with some sweet dark fruits. A little hot. Very bubbly. antzman (313), Clarksville, Indiana, USA
