Poured a murky dark reddish brown with a white tan head that lasted to the end lacing the sides of the glass all the way down. Aroma was a had a alcohol smell with a sweet fruity aroma. The hops just hints the flavor of this beer giving it just the right kick that it needs. Be care with this beer it is 10% alcohol but you don’t really notice it in the flavor of the beer to much. With the sweetness of honey or carmel and the fruits and with the roast malts you should enjoy this beer all the way to the bottom of the glass. saxo (3571), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 14, 2006 Had this at BJ’s Winter Ale Fest. Beer poured a murky dark amber with a small, frothy, light brown, mostly lasting head. The aroma was full and engaging: moderately malty with nots of toasted grain, caramel and molasses; moderately hoppy with notes of apricot and pine / resin; lightly funky with yeast notes damp cellar and mold; and different with moderate miscellneous notes of thyme, candy sugar and raisin. The flavor was moderately sweet and lightly bitter with a long, moderately bitter finish. The body was full, the texture was velvety, the carbonation was lively and there was a moderate alcohol feel in the ending. PorterCall (43), (Formerly UK), Denmark
