Some Belgian yeast smell, strawberry yogurt and sweet cherry smell. Sugary. Shady red color, tan head. Lots of marzipan and alcohol taste. Too sweet palate. Just too much sugar.

(750ml bottle) The neck foamed-over for a good 2 minutes after the cap finally was cracked. A pleasant aroma of marshmellow and bourbon filled the air. The flavours of strong roasted malt, caramel, marshmellow and cask bourbon roll nicely on the tongue. Very potent and formal flavours for a straight-forward taste. Very warming ans sweet. Very good.

On tap at Het Waterhuis aan de Bierkant 07-12-07 Poured very dark brown with a tan head. Quite sweet and intially very heavy tasting brew, I really liked this beer but found that it could be a tad tiring after a while, nice sticky fruits, very warming, and excellent for the winter.

Bottled. Amber with a beige head and nice lacing. Sourish and grassy aroma; soap(?). Spicy and yeasty flavour with fine sweetness.

Amber with a nice lasting creamy offwhite head. Aroma is malty, a bit yeasty, creamy, with some mild spices, vanilla, milk chocolate and some wheat. Malty flavor, a bit fruity, some figs. Very nice mouthfeel ,nice lasting and a great body. Kinda malty finish with some alcohol.

Bottle: Red brownish colour with a creamy minor shortlasting head. Taste of fruit and spiced. Well balanced, but a very alcoholic finish. Draft: much better beer than the bottled one, much more aroma and taste

75 cl Bottle. Dark red-brown, not the greatest head. Tidbitty nose, along with dates, figs and almonds. Body is huge. Salty at first, then almond plays first violin. Very malty, with a dried fruit feel and in the finish the residulal sugars show off.
