Creamy and adherent head, good persistence. Dark reddish color tending to the brown; Enough dark and with a good fizz. Alcoholic and complex aroma; enough winy with overbearing alcoholic notes. Medium pungent taste, dense and liquory. Nicely flowery and spiced but is too much top heavy. Borup (1360), Albertslund, Denmark

Bottle of the Limited Edition 2008 offering, at BCTC. Pours a hazy brown with a thin beige to tan head. Candy, plum, and prunes on the nose. More plum and dark fruit in the body. A little sweet for me, but still fairly solid.
