Draught @ the Dilly Deli. Pours a rich dark brown with ruby highlights and a fine tan head. The aroma is caramel, spices, and sweet fruit. The flavor is again caramel, spices(maybe a hint of corriander), sweet fruit, brown sugar, and toffee. Thick and syrupy. Alcohol does make an appearance, but not in a bad way.

Color of this is about the same as a standard brown bottle. Head was a nice dense cream color. Very complex aroma, smells of yeast and non-citrus fruits, and some other spices. Flavor sweeter, medium bite that if felt right on the tip of the tongue.

750ml bottle during the winter months of 2007-2008. Forgot to rate this, if it wasn’t for the bottle laying around 5 months later i would of never remembered. ah spring cleaning. This strong ale was notably hoppy but still retained a malty nature. Body was on the thicker side. Poured dark brown/orange. Was interesting but not a favorite.
