Very easy to drink amidst the high abv but the belgians know how it’s done. Warming me up today like nothing else. lizzy (44), Saint Louis, Missouri, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 1, 2004 (Bottle). Small off-white head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing. Light brown body. Honey sweet aroma with hints of bread, complex yet subtle and pleasing. Moderated sweetness as well as acidic flavor at first. Light curacao bitterness toward the end of average duration. Very pleasing flavors. Medium high body, lively carbonation, very low alcoholic final (very interesting). A very well balanced masterpiece!
