Very malty and toffeeish Belgian "Christmas Beer" with some nice fruity hints too. A bit too sweet and alcoholic for me though. Rerate: I definately underrated this beer at 3.5.

Browny orange beer with a hefty head. A very vineous aroma and a very vineeous flavour with a bitter dry tinge. A good beer overall.

Big foamy head. Beautiful ruby dark color. Aroma has coffee and licorice. Malty flavor with lots of licorice and cinnamon. Strong alcohol burn. Long licorice and cinnamon finish. A very nice beer with just a bit too much herbs.

Pours a dirty amber with a thick foamy head that held nicely and left a nice lacing. Some yeasty floaties in there but to be expected. Aroma is sweet, fruity, and malty with a hint of alcohol. Flavor is pretty much the same. Very warming brew @ 10% and very drinkable. Good brew. Although pricy, but what else is new.

Tap @ Blind Tiger. Almost red in color with hardly a head (6 oz serving). Aroma is fruity, malty and sweet. Taste is some dried fruits, cinamon & pepper and malt. Not too sweet, balanced and medium bodied. Interesting and complex.

Dark Dark Red Coloring With Brown/Sandy Bubbly Head. Fruity..Bread Dough Aroma... Malt Flavor...Fruit, Bread Dough...A Little Harsh on The Winter Spices...Ends Dry on the Back of Your Throat. Certainly Enjoyable...But Not One I’d Run Back For Again.

Brown color, with a rather large, tan head. Aroma is fruity, with banana, spice and malt. Flavor starts out sweet, with dark fruit and spice coming thru the most. There is hops there as well. Aging may help this one.

2004 bottle courtesy of Tim (IPFreely): Muddy brown with a medium sized off-white head. Rich fruity aroma full of brown sugar and toffee. A full bodied ale with big sweet malts. Hints of cinnamon and orange peels are present in the finish.
