Aug 31, 2004 Festival Tap: Very clear yellow, fizzy, some sour malt aroma. Instant sour graininess, but not enough so to make it horrible, just a bit too sour. Otherwise had a decent grassy finish.

Aug 9, 2004 So this beer is not really that good. It taste sour, not a good thing in a beer. Luckily I’ve tried another brew by this brewery, so I haven’t lost all faith.

Jan 1, 2004 Bottle. Very bland, not much better than the MGD I've spent so many family reunions (where I had this, in the North woods of WI) pounding down. JUST enough bite to call it a pils.

Dec 30, 2002 Rerate: I’ve now had a chance to visit this freindly little brewery and have its brews fresh on tap. This one still seems a little pale to me, very soft and scarce in hops, but clean and decently made. Original Rate (2.2): 10/9/01 My in laws live in the middle of the Nicolet national Forest, a fine expanse of boreality across northern Wisconsin. It is also home to this beer and one would expect it to be as strong and hearty as the inhabitants. Sadly, this is not the case - the beer is thin and meagerly carbonated, a bit malty: buttery and a tad sweet, but hardly a classic pils.

Jun 21, 2002 Hazy light golden color with a smallish head. Lacks sharp noble hops aroma. Mild malt and light hops bitterness. Thin body. A bavanian pils without the hopping.
