On tap today garden from the brewery (open doors event). Hazy orange-amber color, creamy white head. Aroma caramel, sweet, malts fruits, touch. Medium body. Taste caramel, sweet, little spice ( coriander) refreshing this was brewed on Nieuwhguys self. GOOD !

Very dense, creamy head over red-foxy beer, well-carbonated. Sweetish, roasted malts nose, with flowery/fruity notes, as from rosehips. Slightly oxydized, bit roasted, sweet-sourish, and again flowery; spiced with obvious coriander. Light body, lightly spritzy. It would even be refreshing with just a tad less restsugars. Well - yes. God knows where it was brewed - this one in Ecaussinnes, but since then?

Keg (One Pint, Helsinki, Belgian Weeks 2009)
Turbid, quite offputting, brief head. Quite sweet grainy and roasty aroma. Lovely full palate, thick, sweet, fruity, and malty. Very pleasant, well balanced. Would like to try it slightly further away from the dregs at the bottom of the keg.

(Draugt at One Pint Pub, Helsinki, on 2009-03-13) Dark orange and cloudy. Medium sized white head. Malts, yeast and frutiness in aroma. Full bodied and dryish palate with medium carbonation. Malts, yest, fruitiness, grass, bitterness, bit of boiled vegetables and sweetness in taste. Sweet and bitter aftertaste.

On tap at One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Hazy amber-copper colour with a smallcreamy head. Fruity hop nose. Caramel and solid, but almost a bit harsh bitterness. Very bitter, but lacks a bit sophistication.

(Draught@One Pint Pub, Helsinki) Very hazy darkish amber with a small, creamy and lasting head. Quite fruity and yeasty aroma with slight vegetably hints. Smoothly fruity flavor with caramely maltiness and yeast, plus - again - some vegetables, diacetyl, and ashy hints. A slightly unclean, but fruity and otherwise ok Belgian ale.
