Commercial Description:
Translation from website: "A beer with a strong, and obvious sweetness. Drink it now, or why not save it a couple of years? It will only improve with time."

This classic hearty ale started out a gold medal winner in the Swedish Homebrewing Championships in 1993, and went on to win gold in the World Beer Cup in 2000. A little something to see you through the longest darkest night.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange with an average size foamy white head. Aroma of toasted caramel malt, dark fruit, honey, toffee, hops and maple syrup. Flavour of sweet malt, maple syrup, fruit, toffee and hops -- it’s pretty sweet. Alcohol’s well hidden. Medium bodied, sticky mouthfeel. Not world class but still a pretty good, easy to drink Barley Wine.

Bottle. Overly sweet and overly simple. Light amber body with a quickly diminishing off-white head. The aroma is bready and sweet with notes of caramel, cotton candy, fresh-baked bread and hints of peach and alcohol. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, approaching cloying, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. The finish remains sweet and lightly bitter with an aftertaste of apricot. Medium body with a sticky texture. Low to moderate carbonation. Alcohol warming.

Bottle. Amber / copper colour with beige / off-white head. Flavor is roasted, wood, sweetness and dark fruit. Flavor much of the same with caramel. Mouthfeel is good, and the alcohol burns on your tongue.
