looks clear red/yellow with small almost white head. flavor : sweet fruits sugar, nice hoppy bitterness, alc. quite nice flavor actually think IPA with sweet and aged notes. Palate fine. Overall a nice barley wine, low score is bc i don’t like aged beer that taste like old beer.

Jul 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear orange with an average size foamy white head. Aroma of toasted caramel malt, dark fruit, honey, toffee, hops and maple syrup. Flavour of sweet malt, maple syrup, fruit, toffee and hops -- it’s pretty sweet. Alcohol’s well hidden. Medium bodied, sticky mouthfeel. Not world class but still a pretty good, easy to drink Barley Wine.

Jul 8, 2008 Bottle. Overly sweet and overly simple. Light amber body with a quickly diminishing off-white head. The aroma is bready and sweet with notes of caramel, cotton candy, fresh-baked bread and hints of peach and alcohol. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, approaching cloying, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. The finish remains sweet and lightly bitter with an aftertaste of apricot. Medium body with a sticky texture. Low to moderate carbonation. Alcohol warming.
