Commercial Description:
Translation from website: "A beer with a strong, and obvious sweetness. Drink it now, or why not save it a couple of years? It will only improve with time."

This classic hearty ale started out a gold medal winner in the Swedish Homebrewing Championships in 1993, and went on to win gold in the World Beer Cup in 2000. A little something to see you through the longest darkest night.

[Bottle from System Bolaget] Aroma is dominated by toffeeish malt aromas, some dark fruit is also present (plum), dried fruit (figs) and some alcohol. full body, sweet. Has the added bonus of being cheap if one feels the need to bake ones cake.

(Bottle BB 05/2010) Citrus, flowery (mild) and strongly malty aroma. Amber colour, hazy and very small, white, more or less fully diminishing head with a hint of lacing. Fruity (including mild citrus), slightly caramel and heavily malty flavour. Softly carbonated, alcoholic, astringent and medium to full-bodied palate. 10/12/06 (original rating was 7/3/7/4/15)

Bottle. Orangey copper colour with a small white head. Wonderful raisins and nutty aroma. Raisins and nuts flavour, well-balanced and harmonious throughout with appropriate warming alcohol. A great beer drunk young- would love to taste anolder sample one day.

Slightly murky brown with no head. Very sweet aroma of caramel, toffee, yeast and spices. The body is very alcoholic, with some pudding spices and dried fruits. Very little bitterness of hop character. The finish is sweet and alcoholic. A decent beer, but far too sweet, and not very interesting.
